Long-time fans might recall that a few years ago I spent some time creating a weekly comic strip with my sister, Lori. We called it Ink, Paint & Tears… and it was a random, two-panel strip with lots of puns and all sorts of colorful characters like Steve, the manic-depressive grasshopper, and our dog, Brandi, and a talking muffin. Also I suppose there were occasionally some regular people in it, too!
So while after being on an “indefinite hiatus” for the last four years I can’t say that we’ll be starting the project back up again anytime soon, I am pleased to announce the next best thing – we just published a book of said comics that you can buy to remember the good, old days! And let me tell you, it turned out great – it’s full-color, 118 pages, and includes every single comic that we ever created, including a handful that have never before seen the light of day! Remember when we made a wall calendar that, like, six people ended up actually buying?! Those comics are all in there, too! It’s a smorgasbord of comedy and for a limited time, you can order your copy right now with just the click of a button…
Well, maybe the limited time thing is a bit of a stretch, but it is a pretty sharp looking book and Lori and I both agree that it’s a very fitting end to a project that we had an awful lot of fun with a few years back. This is your chance to own the entire collection from its start way back in 2002 to the very last strip that was completed but never posted sometime in 2007! Also, it’s pretty funny, so click on the store link to your right and order your copy today!
